Heerenveen's hopes of UEFA cup football have been seriously dented
after losing 1-2 at home to Spanish outfit Villareal in the UEFA
backdoor intertoto competition.
All three goals were bagged in the first half. After Calleja gave
the visitors an early 12th minute lead Heereveen were luck to equalise
via an own goal. However just before the break Victor put the final
1-2 score-line on the board.
