Dutch international allrounder Boudewijn Zenden, who is unable to
force his way into Chelsea's squad, has been targeted by Charlton
Athletic according to his agent.
According to reports Charlton have already made an official offer
for Zenden who would like to see his career back on track before
next year's European Championship.
The chances of Zenden joining Charlton however would seem very
remote with the likes of German side Hamburg, Italian giants Inter
and Lazio and Dutch outfits Ajax and PSV chasing for his signature.
In an interview in 'Voetbal International' Zenden's agent Chris
Dekker said: "Boudewijn would like to go to a club who is playing
for the prizes and who also plays in a European competition.
Charlton Athletic would like to get him on loan as soon as possible,
however we have set that on hold. The interest from Ajax and PSV is
more interesting."
