RKC 3:0 Zwolle
RKC top the early Dutch Eredivisie table after
starting their away campaign with an emphatic 3-0 victory
against Zwolle at the Oosterenkstadion on Sunday.
Two goals in four minutes from striker Iwan Redan
midway through the first half laid the foundations
for the victory, which also condemns Zwolle to a second defeat
from their opening games.
RKC hung on in the second half and completed the victory
with a stunning strike from Zeljko Petrovic in stoppage time
to go top of the Eredivisie on goal difference.

Volendam 3:0 Groningen
Volendam kick-started their season in emphatic style
with a comprehensive 3-0 victory over Groningen.
The promoted side began their Eredivisie campaign
with a 1-0 defeat at Heerenveen but found life
against Groningen a whole lot easier.
Two goals in the first 20 minutes of the match from
Eddy Putter and Maurice Buys, the latter a penalty,
set Volendam on their way and Dion Esajas wrapped things up
11 minutes into the second half.

Roda JC 3:1 NEC
Roda JC continued their excellent start to the season
with a convincing 3-1 win at Nijmegen.
Cristiano Dos Santos gave them a 1-0 interval lead
before Yannis Anastasiou and Cristiano again were on the mark
after the interval for the visitors from Kerkrade.
NEC finally got on the scoresheet when substitute Fabian De Freitas
scored in stoppage time.
