Czech midfielder Tomas Galasek has extended his stay with Eredivisie
leaders Ajax by signing a contract which ties him to the club until
summer 2006.
The 30-year-old joined the Amsterdam giants in July 2000 and was a
key member of the team which won the Dutch title in 2002.
He also claimed a Amstel Cup winner's medal that year and has gone
on to make 94 appearances in the famous red and white, scoring 16
goals in the process.
Galasek made his 21st appearance in European competitions for Ajax
in Tuesday's 3-2 defeat at Celta Vigo.
