Dutch giants Ajax are sounding out Egypt's under-20 goalkeeper
Sherif Ekramy, according to sources from the Egyptian team here
at the under-20 world championships.
According to the team official, former European champions Ajax
have already made contact with Sherif's current Cairo-based club
Al Ahly.
Sherif's heroics were instrumental in keeping Colombia at bay in
a 0-0 draw here on Saturday.
Apart from his promising performances and the fact he stands 1.93
metres tall, Sherif has the benefit of being the son of Egypt's
most successful goalkeeper, Ahmed Ekramy.
