PSV have beaten off Feyenoord to secure the services of highly-rated
Danish starlet Lasse Qvist from Lyngb who has been was named Denmark's
'Talent of the Year' in 2003.
Qvist, who was on trial with PSV during the January transfer period
seems to have impressed coach Guus Hiddink, who has decided to bring
him to the Phillips Stadion on a permanent basis. PSV technical director
Frank Arnesen explained on the clubs website that Qvist arrival can be
attributed to PSV's scouting team who spotted Qvist playing in his
native Denmark.
Arensen: "The scouts of PSV earn a big compliment with the arrival of
Qvist. He's a fantastic talent, several clubs were interested,"
