AC Milan vendetta Clarence Seedorf has joined the growing list of
absentees for Holland’s match against France . With both sides
each missing a number of key players when the two sides meet on
Wednesday, Holland coach Dick Advocaat will at least get the chance
to test ’Oranje’up and coming starlets.
Jaap Stam, Clarence Seedorf and Frank de Boer have all pulled out
of Holland's squad due to injuries and PSV's Wilfred Bouma also
looks set to miss out on the game through a back problem and it
has still not been decided whether he will travel to the Holand
training camp.
Holland coach Dick Advocaat stated on Dutch TV last night that Ajax
defender Johnny Heitinga will take over from Jaap Stam in the center
of defence, which should be the ideal opportunity for the prolific
defender to convince Advocaat of his talents, and Advocaat also
suggested that the defence could be strengthened with another Ajax
defender Nigel de Jong, who somehow has escaped the eyes of European
scouts for so long.
