Ajax are hoping to bring in a right winger this summer and have
targeted former stars Marc Overmars and Jesper Gronkjaer as potential
signings.
Overmars is very much a bit-part player at Barcelona and is almost
certain to leave this summer, while Gronkjaer's future is also in
doubt at big-spending Chelsea.
And should the two players decide to look elsewhere, then Ajax could
be quick to step in.
"Ajax have no real right-wing striker,'' Ajax technical director Louis
van Gaal told AT5.
"Gronkjaer would be a very good choice. He is an option, just like
Overmars.''
