Celtic are reported to be lining up Dutch international striker
Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink as a replacement for Swedish star Henrik
Larsson who has anounced that he will be leaving the club at the
end of the season.
Celtic boss Martin O’Neill is a keen admirer of the Chelsea hit-man
and has already started behind-the-scenes talks for the Dutchman.
O’Neill would like to the 32-year-old player on loan for a year
or on a free transfer. Hasselbaink, 32, has grown restless this
season and knows Roman Abramovich will bring in more strikers this
summer to push him further down the queue.
