PSV will play AC Milan, FC Schalke 04 and Fenerbahce in the group phase of this
season's Champions league. This is the outcome of the draw that took place in
Monaco on Thursday afternoon.
AC Milan
So PSV will face AC Milan once again. PSV were knocked out of the Champions
league semi-finals last season following two great games against the Italian
side. The Eindhoven outfit have never met FC Schalke 04, the runners-up in
Germany, in an official European game yet.
Fenerbahce
The last time PSV were drawn with Fenerbahce, the champions of Turkey, was in
the 1978-1979 season for the European Cup I tournament.
