selection.
Strengths: Think Tracy McGrady. Handles the ball very well, sees the court,
very athletic, excellent shooter during his junior year at Texas A&M.
Weaknesses: Questions about his head after he followed a solid freshman year
with a poor sophomore season that saw him shoot just 29% from downtown. While
there are certainly some question marks about his shooting, he rebounded
nicely last year by hitting over 50% of his shots from the floor.
Fantasy Outlook: Sleeper alert! While he'll have a tough time getting shots
up with Richard Jefferson, Vince Carter and Jason Kidd around, I think he
could still contend for rookie of the year. I think he’s undervalued, has
the skills to step in and produce right away and should have an excellent
rookie year, if he can find his way onto the court.
Predicted Fantasy Round 2005: 4th or 5th-round selection.
Predicted Fantasy Round 2010: 2nd or 3rd-round selection.
Comparable Upside: Tracy McGrady
Comparable Downside: James Jones (Pacers)
