以下是Ed Stefanski給球迷關於選秀的一封信，
Dear Chao-yuan,
This is Nets General Manager, Ed Stefanski with a special all-access alert on
the eve of the 2006 NBA Draft.
We currently have two picks in the first round at selections #22 and #23, and
we have narrowed down our choices. We also have exhausted all phone calls to
the teams in front of us and behind us to see if they want to make a trade to
move up or back. There's some interest in either way but trades usually
happen on Draft day if someone wants to make a deal. So that's all out there
but nothing's come to fruition at this point.
So right now we are still at #22 and #23, and we think there's going to be a
couple of energy guys there. We'd love to see if we can get a point guard, a
shooting guard or a small forward with one pick, and a power forward or
center with the other, but we don't know if that's how it's all going to play
out.
