[外電] 老基:Tele下賽季會是籃網重要一員

In comments made at Thursday's press conference, and reported by al-Jazeera Ba
lkans, Jason Kidd called Mirza Teletovic an "important" part of the team and s
aid he's likely to have a bigger role this season than last when he was mostl
y nailed to the bench by Avery Johnson and P.J. Carlesimo.

"Mirza will be an important part of this team. He's the guy who can contribut
e to the defense and has a good shot. These players that we're introducing tod
ay are very important. However, also very important are those players who hav
e a specific role."

Kidd also said that it will be important for Teletovic to learn from the team'
s new players. With the addition of Kevin Garnett, the signing of Andrei Kiril
enko and the re-signing of Andray Blatche, the Nets front court has gotten cro
wded. But none of those three has as much potential as a stretch four as Telet
ovic.

Teletovic is in Bosnia, having just completed several days honoring those kill
ed in a genocidal attack by Bosnian Serbs on the town of Srebrenica in July 19
95. In addition to attending a memorial service for 400 newly identified bodie
s, Teletovic worked with the US embassy officials at a camp for children of Sr
ebrenica survivors. He now moves on to training camp for Team Bosnia, which ho
pes to medal in FIBA Eurobasket this September.

雖然Tele上賽季大部分時間被小將軍跟PJ冰在板凳上
但老基表示:Tele下賽季會是籃網隊重要的一員，會給他更重要的角色。

Tele目前正在Bosnia(波士尼亞)，將代表國家參加9月的歐錦賽。
