Toko Shengelia underwent successful surgery on his left knee Wednesday, the
Nets announced. He will miss FIBA Eurobasket where he hoped to play for his
native Georgia but is expected to be ready for training camp, now eight weeks
away. Earlier this week, Shengelia's father said the recuperation could take
as little as two weeks. Shengelia was seen putting up shots at the PNY Center
Tuesday. According to reports, Shengelia damaged his meniscus.
Shortly after his surgery, the Georgian Basketball Federation posted a
picture of Shengelia giving a thumbs up.
Toko 上禮拜三已經成功完成了手術。
他會缺席歐錦賽，但是還距離八週的NBA 訓練營他會準時歸隊。
他老爸先前才說需要兩週恢復，上星期二也看到他在 PNY CENTER 練投籃。
