Skysports.com Sibierski calls for focus By Alex Livie - Created on 16 Feb 2007 Antoine Sibierski has warned Newcastle not to take a lax attitude into the second leg of their Uefa Cup clash with Zulte-Waregem next week. The Magpies have one foot in the last 16 of the competition after claiming a 3-1 win in Belgium on Thursday. It would appear that Newcastle did the hard work in Belgium, but Sibierski, a goalscorer in the first leg, is determined to ensure a complacent attitude does not creep into the side. "We have to think about the game at home next week," Sibierski told Sky Sports News. "We cannot think that because we won that we are already qualified. "It is not done, we have to respect this team next week. "The most important thing is to have a good game and win again." Sibierski's display on Thursday drew praise from his manager Glenn Roeder. He said: "I find myself often repeating myself, but I cannot think of another free transfer signing last August who is better than Antoine. (.......砲德發功了) "Maybe Sol Campbell at Portsmouth and he were the two outstanding Bosmans last summer. "I cannot praise him enough as a man or as a footballer. He thoroughly deserved the goal he got." (......發功完畢) -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 202.86.190.222
