Mark Viduka is determined to impress Kevin Keegan over the last few weeks of
the season and secure a regular starting spot at Newcastle.
The Australian has formed a three-pronged strikeforce with Michael Owen and
Obafemi Martins in Newcastle's recent resurgence.
But the Australian has endured an injury-hit first year on Tyneside and he
knows he still has a lot to prove if he is establish himself as a key figure
in Keegan's plans for the future.
"I am just starting to get a good taste of what it is like to play for
Newcastle United, which is a massive club with big potential," he said.
"I would love to be in Kevin Keegan's starting line-up every week and that's
what I am working towards."
Viduka played in Newcastle's draw with Sunderland back in November and he is
now looking forward to the rematch at St James' Park on Sunday.
