Monday saw confirmation appear on the official Lazio website that they
had reached agreement with Newcastle for the permanent transfer of David
Rozehnal.

The 27 year-old defender is currently appearing at Euro 2008 for the
Czech Republic and has been on loan to the Serie A side since January of
this year.
It's understood that the loan agreement did contain provision for the
move to be made permanent and Lazio have now exercised that option - some
weeks after the player publicly stated his desire to remain in Rome.
No fee has been announced for Rozehnal, who cost ￡2.9m when arriving
from Paris Saint-Germain in June 2007.
There's been no confirmation from Newcastle as yet.
