Mike Williamson was a rock at the back for Newcastle and was one of
many Toon players to shine.

The only goal of the game may have resulted from a mistake by Fabianski,
but it was a fantastic leap by Andy Carroll.

Tim Krul produced an outstanding save to deny Samir Nasri in the first
half - diving to his left to keep out a stinging effort.

Moment of the match:
There was still time for Laurent Koscielny to see red for a blatant
tug on Nile Ranger in the dying minutes.
