Chelsea winger Jesper Gronkjaer has rejected rumours that
he wants to leave the club in the New Year.
The 26-year-old former Ajax wideman had been reported to be
unhappy with the squad rotation policy operated by boss Claudio
Ranieri, but has distanced himself from such talk.
He told Danish paper BT: "I decided this summer that I would
give it a go with the new squad at Chelsea. Therefore, it would
be odd to leave now.
"It would also have been more natural to move during the summer
when there were big changes in the squad, rather than now when
I get a fair share of playing."
"Of course I would like to play from the start in every match,
but I am fine at the moment and I knew how the situation would be.
"In the long run, the big and strong squad will be an advantage
and I do not want to create unrest by talking of leaving."
