STOCKHOLM, Nov 1 (Reuters) - Swedish first division team Elfsborg won
the Swedish Cup on Saturday with a 2-0 win over second division side
Assyriska.
The win earned Elfsborg a place at next year's UEFA Cup qualifying
stage alongside first division runners-up Hammarby.
Lars Nilsson scored both of Elfsborg's goals, the first coming just
four minutes into the match before he doubled his tally with a header
midway through the second half.
Stockholm team Djurgarden, who were ousted by Assyriska in the Cup
semi-finals, grasped Sweden's only Champions League spot by retaining
the first division title two weeks ago.
