The 32-year-old former national captain has said he will retire when his contract with the Spanish first division club expires in June. However, Madsen said Andersson would join his team when he becomes a free agent. 'I just spoke to him and there is no doubt he'll come home to Malmo,' Madsen told the Swedish daily Aftonbladet. Andersson has been afflicted by injuries after moving to Barcelona from Bayern Munich in 2001. He missed the World Cup last year because of a hip injury.
