http://soccernet.espn.go.com/headlinenews?id=292981&cc=4716 Tuesday, March 2, 2004 UEFA president Lennart Johansson has offered to fly Henrik Larsson's family out to Euro 2004 if the Celtic striker agrees to play for Sweden in the tournament. The Hoops' forward has already quit the international scene but Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet has gained over 110,000 signatures on a petition, including those of Johansson and the Swedish Prime Minister, calling for him to return for the games in Portugal. Johansson has also made a personal plea for the 32-year-old to play. He said: 'We are prepared to wait until the very last minute for Henrik to make up his mind. 'I don't want to back him into a corner by putting extra pressure on him, because he is a very single-minded person and it might work against us. 'He knows the coaches want him, he knows all of us in Sweden want him to be in Portugal. 'We are prepared to make arrangements for his wife and family to join him over there if he agrees to play. 'I first spoke to Henrik about it when I was at Celtic earlier this season to present them with the UEFA Fair Play award for the behaviour of their supporters in Seville last season. 'I told him then he was wanted by his country and I also wrote him a personal letter.'
