MADRID, July 12 (Reuters) Valencia have agreed to sell Norwegian international striker John Carew to Turkish club Besiktas. Valencia did not reveal details of the deal but Spanish media said that the 24-year-old striker, who played on loan at AS Roma last season, was set to sign a three-year contract with his new club. Earlier on Monday Valencia's new coach Claudio Ranieri said that Carew, who was also reported to be close to signing for newly promoted premier league side West Bromwich Albion, did not figure in his plans for the forthcoming season. Carew joined Valencia from Rosenborg for $8.6 million in 2000 and went on to score 20 league goals in three seasons before moving to Roma last September. Besiktas, who finished third in the Turkish first division last season, are coached by former Real Madrid boss Vicente del Bosque. -- 有心 沒心 心在芬蘭 多情 薄情 情繫 Ajax -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 210.68.251.244
