The Denver Nuggets seem intent on signing free agent guard Trenton Hassell,
but are ignoring Jon Barry in the process. Hassell has more good years
ahead of him, and is certainly a superior defensive player, but Barry brings
some things to the table in his own right. He's a sparkplug who has been
around the block a few times and knows his role well. The Nuggets would be
wise not to underestimate the value of the qualities that Barry brings.
