Nuggets coach Jeff Bzdelik hopes to add a third point guard soon. Candidates
include free agents Anthony Goldwire, Doug Overton and Eddie House, whom
Charlotte waived Saturday. Denver's point guards are Andre Miller and Earl
Boykins. "Earl is banged up," Bzdelik said. "At times, we have to be cautious
with him at practice. Many times I'm left with (usual forward) Bryon Russell
playing the point in practice. It hurts our quality of practice to have a guy
like Russell played way out of position. We're kind of waiting. It's pretty
much on me."
