一些小道：

Nene 說他會開始進行化療，有機會三月多回來。<- 這也是最終沒有交易他的原因之一。
Atkins 還有兩個星期後回來。

交易內幕：

沒交易到 Delonte West 是因為他很可能打完這季就走人，超音速要一個首輪。

沒交易 Artest 的關鍵決定是 Karl，以下是 Karl 的解釋:

I think it is clear George is a big "karma" guy. He thinks introducing
perhaps the most volatile guy in the league to a locker room filled with
strong personalities had a big chance of not working. He said he only had 10
real practices scheduled for the next two months, and he had no idea where he
would play Ron, how Kenyon or Ron might take coming off the bench, how he
could get Ron flowing in the offense, etc.

He said his team is ready to take the next step...he thinks it is just now
taking it, and he believes it will happen, and to take his two most
professional, most prepared players off the team would really hurt that. He
said you really can't have a great team without leadership on a
professionalism front - his Seattle teams had Detlef Schrempf and Nate
McMillan, etc., and Najera and LK were those guys on this team.

He said we are really starting to become a "team", and he hated to see
something so volatile put that in jeopardy.


Nene (+選秀權) 本來差點要被交易換來一個到期合同 (J-Will 或 Magloire)
然後把這個到期合同打包 LK + 選秀權去換來 Mike Miller 和 Lowry，
但是因為灰熊決定不放 Mike Miller，所以也就沒有交易掉 Nene。

所以差點會是一個 Nene + LK +選秀權 <-> Mike Miller + Lowry 的交易。
灰熊不放人，我們很生氣！

Wafer 換 Green 的交易中，我們省了 400K。

收到尼克的提案是：Nene, Hunter and LK for Zach Randolph
還好 Bearup 把這個交易檔下來...

AI 和 Melo 原本都游說過 FO 交易來 Artest，
但他們跟 Karl 談過後，
最後要求 FO 不要交易隊上任何一人，他們聽到 Von 將被交易時還有點生氣。
