岡島秀樹完成 waivers 程序，下放 AAA Pawtucket。
CLEVELAND -- Hideki Okajima has again resurfaced with the Red Sox
organization just after it appeared the sides might be ready to part ways.
Last week, after acquiring lefty Franklin Morales from the Rockies in a
trade, Boston designated Okajima for assignment.
But the Red Sox apparently could not find a trade partner for the lefty
reliever, and have outrighted him to Triple-A Pawtucket.
Okajima had been non-tendered by the Red Sox last December, but he wound
up re-signing with the club in January.
He was one of the final cuts in Spring Training and was optioned to
Triple-A Pawtucket at that time. Okajima was recalled by the Red Sox on
April 18, and he went 1-0 with a 4.32 ERA in seven outings.
Okajima has pitched 261 games in the Majors, all for the Red Sox. He is
17-8 with a 3.11 ERA.
