[情報] Team in Spain keeps going after Kasun

DALLAS -- Orlando Magic center Mario Kasun said a pro team in Barcelona of
the Euro Basketball League is trying to lure him to play in Spain this season.

Kasun, however, is under contract with the Magic. He becomes a restricted
free agent after the season, meaning the Magic have the right to match any
offer.

"Yeah, they want me to come over now. They want me this season," Kasun said
Thursday. "They're like the best team in Europe."

He said he has told the Spanish team he is unavailable.

"Orlando is my team," said Kasun(說的好阿...>o<), a 7-foot-1, 260-pound Croatia native in his
second year with the Magic. "I might have to change my phone number."

Playing behind veterans Tony Battie and Kelvin Cato (when Cato is healthy),
Kasun, 25, has been looking for more playing time. He has played just 54
minutes in just seven games as a reserve and has averaged 2.0 points and 2.0
rebounds per game.

Magic General Manager Otis Smith said the club likes Kasun and is trying to
get him on the floor more.

Barcelona could be investigated by FIBA for tampering.

"Our agreement with FIBA has a provision to the effect that teams can't
negotiate with players who are under contract,'' NBA spokesman Tim Frank said
Thursday.

Meanwhile,Smith said the Magic have contacted the Indiana Pacers about
acquiring Ron Artest (那尼..魔術也想要阿泰阿...拿誰換@_@??),who has asked to be traded. The Magic are one of about
20 NBA clubs investigating a possible trade for Artest.
