Stan Van Gundy doesn’t plan on adjusting Magic lineup

BOSTON — Stan Van Gundy said on Sunday afternoon that he will continue to
stick with the starting lineup of Jameer Nelson, Jason Richardson, Hedo
Turkoglu, Brandon Bass and Dwight Howard, despite the group’s poor recent
first quarters.

In the Magic’s last five first quarters, they trailed Houston by nine
points, Dallas by nine, New Orleans by six, Oklahoma City by 12 and Minnesota
by 15.

Not good, even though Orlando posted a 3-2 record in those games.

魔術隊最近五場比賽的第一節，分別輸火箭，小牛九分，黃蜂六分，雷霆12分，灰狼15分

戰績也是不怎樣的三勝兩敗。

Van Gundy acknowledges he has “thought about possibilities” for changing
the lineup, but he’ll stand pat for now.

大范也有考慮換先發的可能性。

“I still think — at least on paper and in my mind — that should be our
best group to start,” Van Gundy said following practice Sunday afternoon. “
But what’s on paper doesn’t really matter. They’ve got to start getting
the job done a little better.”

但大范還是覺得他們是最好的先發組合了，可是從數據來看似乎不是這樣。

Van Gundy was encouraged by how the starting quintet began Saturday night’s
third quarter against the Timberwolves, going on a 20-7 run to take over the
game.

對灰狼那場比賽的第三節，先發陣容打出20-7的攻勢，讓大范的想法得到贊同。

So, how much longer will he stick with the group?

“Well, it depends,” he said. “I think everything really depends on winning
and losing. Right now, we’ve won 10 of our last 12, however we’ve done it.
Maybe your starts aren’t as good as you would like, but maybe you’re
getting your best play out of your bench that way.

被問到對於先發的容忍度是如何?

大范回答:一切依據戰績，他說我們12場贏了10場，或許這10場先發打得不是很好，
但至少我們對於板凳的使用時機是很正確的。

“So, whatever the reasons, we’ve won 10 out of 12. The two we lost were by
a point and in overtime on the road against good teams. As upset as you might
be at one part of what’s going on, I don’t think you want to screw
everything up potentially. There’s always gonna be something you don’t
like, and as long as we’re winning games and playing well, I won’t mess
with it.”

不管什麼原因，我們還是贏了過去12場比賽中的10場，而且一場只輸一分，一場做客才
在延長賽輸給了一支很棒的隊伍，或許有些細節是讓人沮喪的。
球賽贏球，還是有些過程會讓我們不滿意，但我不會因為那點不喜歡去搞砸他。

大范最後的意思很像是 :贏球還是有很多讓人不滿意的地方，例如就是先發打很爛，

但還是贏球了，所以不會因此去破壞這個贏球的氣氛跟輪替。



這樣也是有道理拉，畢竟贏球的球隊，沒有道理換陣容，而且那幾場輸球也是真的很可惜

希望明天對超賽能好好發揮一下，尤其是巴斯跟ARENAS
