Injured J.J. Redick says he's 'close' to practicing and playing
The Orlando Magic's undermanned bench might receive a badly needed jolt in
time for the playoffs.
Backup shooting guard J.J. Redick, who has missed the Magic's last 14 games
because of a strained muscle in his lower abdomen, has resumed some on-court
basketball activities and said he's getting "close" to practicing with the
team and playing in a game.
"It's been a good week," said Redick, who ran some sprints Saturday and did
some shooting drills. "I've made progress the last three days, so I'm
excited. I'm close.
"Close to playing, close to practicing, close to doing stuff, close to
cutting. I'm close. I'm not there yet, but the last three days I've made a
lot of progress."
While it's unclear when Redick will play in a game — he definitely will not
dress for Sunday afternoon's matchup against the Chicago Bulls at Amway
Center — his prognosis has improved since he and Magic strength and
conditioning coach Joe Rogowski traveled to Vancouver, B.C., about 12 days
ago to receive help from a physiotherapy practice that has expertise in
addressing core-muscle injuries.
總之，JJ快回來了。 季後賽回來應該是沒有問題 。
