Orlando was actually pretty good last season, finishing in the middle
of the pack in defensive efficiency. They could still use a rim protector in
the paint but have a collection of athletic players at almost every position.

In two seasons in Orlando, Jacque Vaughn has accumulated a 43-121
record. But considering the Magic have been in full-on rebuilding mode, the
better judge of Vaughn's tenure may be the establishing of a system and
culture.

Summary
There is rebuilding, and then there is leveling the entire structure and
starting from scratch. And while some teams, such as the Sixers, have seemed
to be more inclined to the latter, the Magic are now reaching a point of
critical mass, where all the assets need to stop translating into promise and
instead transform into wins.

GM Rob Hennigan and Vaughn are starting their third season in Orlando, and
while Orlando may not be quite magical yet, it has some nice building blocks
in place. Nikola Vucevic should start in the NBA for the next decade, and
Victor Oladipo was one of the NBA's best rookies last season. Gordon and
Payton are both solid prospects. But for a team that won 23 games last
season, playing in one of the most competitive divisions in the NBA, none of
the moves made this summer seem designed to make a massive immediate impact.
這是海神跟Vaughn合作的第三季
也許魔術還不很會變魔術，但有很棒的重建架構
如Nikola Vucevic以及Victor Oladipo.
新選進來的Gordon跟Payton也具有潛力
但對於一隻上季只贏了23場，以及身處在最競爭的分區中(有熱火、老鷹、巫師、黃蜂)
加上夏季沒有什麼特別的交易
很難有立即性的影響力
