I did 2 phone interviews with Google / Amazon this week. I thought I did great for both of them. Alomost every questions I gave them the best answer for the first shot. Here are the questions: Google: 1. Given an array and number, print 2 elemets sum up the the given number. 2. Detect cycle in a linked-list Amazon: 1. Given 1 bullion numbers, find closet 2 numbers 2. FInd the middle of a linked-list 3. Implement BFS 4. Implement strstr() As you all see, all of them are pieces of cake. None of them are hard and interviewers are suprised that I finished these questions in such a short time, so they ended up chatting with me for pretty long time. What makes me feel suprised is I was "REJECTED" by Amazon, and I guess Google will be about the same. I have read some blogs that in fact did pretty suck phone interviews stil have 2nd / 3rd intervews but I didn't even have it. There must be a real disconnection between interview and offer. Now I can sleep with it:) -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢參(ptt3.cc) ◆ From: 141.158.245.93
