PayPal Risk Data Acquisition team has 4-6 open positions for software

Must have knowledge in object-oriented development in Java or C++
(both desired).
Experience with J2EE, XML, ORACLE, MYSQL desired.
Must be a team player with strong communication skills.
BS degree in computer science as related fields.
[Primary Job Responsibilities]
This position will work on the Risk Data Acquisition team. Data is the
foundation upon which all analytics and fraud detection is based, and is
core to our system. You will be working with huge quantities of data and
cutting edge technologies.
Primary responsibility of this position includes implementation of
enterprise-level applications in the area of data acquisition and tools
for monitoring, alerting, and remedying data quality issues. The candidate
will be working in an innovative, dynamic and highly focused development
team in delivering solutions that are appropriate for the business and
technology strategies. He/she will work with senior staff in the development
team and collaborate with product management and QA teams to solve complex
software engineering problems.
The ideal candidate must have relevant knowledge in computer systems.
He/she must be a high achiever and be able to demonstrate the ability to
be innovative and resolve complex problems.
