Here’s what we’re looking for…
Working Style
Software agnostic and enthusiastic about experimenting and building with a wide variety of 3D tools (e.g. Blender, 3dsMax, Maya, etc.)
Smart, productive and tolerant of sarcasm
Self-motivated and curious
Good attitude, work ethic, and strong verbal communication skills
Interested in building a friendly, collaborative, and transparent work environment
Happiest when creating
A scrappy, yet thoughtful, approach to getting things done
Skill estimating time length to complete projects
Thoughtful regarding optimization
Experience
Intermediate to advanced experience with texture-baking for gaming or real-time environments
Experience with low-polygon modeling for gaming or real-time environments (e.g., Unity3D)
Strong design sense for visual details
A good eye for detail and realism
Advanced knowledge of materials and lighting
The ideal portfolio will emphasize process as well as final product.
