I'm a personal friend of Al's and had time to chill with him last night
before he left for Indianapolis this morning to take his physical.
Due to our surroundings, I was unable to inquire what the details were, but
he told me himself, "I'm a Pacer now." A press conference should happen any
day now.
Al was in good spirits, but I sincerely feel that he wanted to be here. But
going back to Indy where his entire family lives is even better.
Unless the Sixers are looking for some veteran talent along with one young
piece, the scenario of Iverson coming is zero.
