Pacers center Roy Hibbert played role of recruiter with Nene


Indiana Pacers center Roy Hibbert spent the majority of the NBA lockout
working out in different parts of the country.

Hibbert also played the role of a recruiter while working out with big man
Nene, one of the marquee free agents on the market, in San Antonio.

Hibbert, who gained 15 pounds of muscle during the offseason, talked to Nene
about teaming with him in the frontcourt this season.

“I talked to him and told him how great the city is,” Hibbert said. “I was
telling him we could work well together.”

The Pacers have spoken to Nene’s agent but his price tag may be too high for
the franchise.

Nene averaged 14.5 points and 7.6 rebounds last season with the Denver
Nuggets.

Hibbert noted that he has complete confidence in Tyler Hansbrough, who ended
the season as the team’s starting power forward.

“I have the up most faith in Tyler at power forward,” Hibbert said. “
Whatever pieces we can add to our team will definitely help.”


Hibbert 在聖城跟 Nene 一起進行訓練時有表示歡迎他加入溜馬

但是 Nene 開的價錢可能高於溜馬預算(不是說賺飽了?!)

Hibbert 對於 Hansbrough 在大前鋒位置上的表現仍深具信心
