在AMD平台上裝上標準高度的RAM：

換上比較高一點的記憶體：高度已經是相當剛好，要裝進去可以，不過要拆除記憶體還是
要拔掉風扇。

換上重點的X79平台，這張板子是8DIMM設計，因此散熱器不占空間顯得更重要。

介紹完畢接下來進入測試階段，測試平台：
處理器：Intel I7-3960X
主機板：X79-EX9
記憶體：Gskill RIPJAWS-Z 2133 4G*4 使用XMP
顯示卡：GTX550Ti
散熱器：Cooler Master Hyper 412 SLIM
電源：THORTECH Thunderbolt 800W 金牌
硬碟：WD 500AAKS 500G
作業系統：Windows 7
環境溫度：２１度

測試的方法很簡單，以OCCT4的CPU LINPACK功能跑21分鐘(其中一分鐘監控+五分鐘降溫)
，超頻到4.5G與預設值都跑一次，記錄下6核全部的溫度、包裝溫度，與風扇轉速。

系統設定：超頻設定時電壓如圖所示，所有省電、保護都關閉。而未超頻的設定方法是在
BIOS內載入預設值以後，將Thermal throttle關閉，其餘電壓、省電都保持AUTO。
