Stoudemire Anxious for Next Season(阿買渴望下一季的來臨)

The Suns may have gotten to the Conference Finals without the
services of their brightest up-and-coming star for much of the
season, but just imagine how much further a healthy Amare
Stoudemire can take them in 2006-07.
能打進西區決賽，也許積極進取的明星阿買並沒能提供太大的幫助，

The Pacific Division Champs are wasting no time planning for
next season, with much of those plans centering around their
23-year-old forward/center. The coaching staff stresses the
biggest thing is getting Stoudemire back at 100 percent come
training camp.
不想再浪費時間，太平洋組的冠軍太陽隊已開始籌畫下一季，大部份
的計畫呢，都著眼於他們23歲的 前鋒(or中鋒)

“You take a team that was just in the Conference Finals and
add one of the best players in the league to that team without
doing anything – it should work out,” Head Coach Mike D’
Antoni smiled. “You can’t ever think ‘Amare plus this equals
that.’ But him coming back gives us enough talent to win a
championship, and it’s up to us as coaches and players to put
it all together and do that.”

Playing in only three games this season after coming back from
preseason microfracture surgery on his right knee, "STAT" was
understandably disappointed not being able to contribute more
on the court en route to his team’s second consecutive Western
Finals appearance. If nothing else, that disappointment fuels
him for a strong comeback next year. The former NBA Rookie of
the Year plans on continuing his constant strength and
conditioning regimen.
季前動右膝手術，回來後賽季只打了三場球，西區前兩輪戰役途中也
不能為球隊貢獻更多，STAT(阿買的暱稱Standing Tall and Talent)
的失望可以理解，也沒什麼其他的事，光是這種沮喪就成為他下一季
強烈想回復的燃料，這支早先還是NBA的菜鳥
已計畫持續透過不斷的苦練來熟悉比賽的控制
“It’s not pressure,” Stoudemire explained Sunday. “It’s
a matter of me being healthy. And that’ll take care of itself.
I’m ahead of schedule in my rehabilitation and taking my time
on the healing process. I’ve been real fluid, with no pain.
Work, work and more work. That’s what I’m all about.”

His teammates will certainly benefit from his efforts in a few
months, and can’t wait until he suits up for the new season.
They are also looking forward to having his 26 ppg and 8.9 rpg
back in the box score on a nightly basis – numbers that saw
the youngster being named an All-Star in 2005.

our team. I don’t see any reason why he can’t make a full
recovery. That’s what I expect. I expect him to get back to
where he was before he got hurt, so he can continue to improve
as a player. I’m excited for him because he has a chance to
put all this behind him and start playing again.”

In the meantime, "STAT" has a full schedule lined up for the
summer. Between his upcoming signature basketball camp and a
family vacation to Israel, No. 32 will suit up for a stint in
the Toshiba Vegas Summer League, as well as Team USA before
putting last season behind him for bigger and better things
in ’06-07.
於此際，'STAT(阿買暱稱)' 夏季的排程全滿，因為他夏天要
參加訓練營及陪家人去以色列渡假(不會吧..以色列好像是是非之地丫，
可不要出事情)，32號的球衣也將在東芝舉辦的籃球聯盟中穿上
(按stint:A length of time spent in a particular way)，去年一季，
及國家隊都過去了，現在只期望06-07球季能更好
“It was a long season for me,” he said, “but that’s over
now and we have to focus on next season. The team we have here,
it will be exciting next year. We’re looking forward to big
things. We’re not settling for anything less than a
championship next year.”
"好漫長的一季，對我來說" 阿買說道 "但現在結束了，我們必需著重
於下一季，我們的球隊，明年會更讓人覺得刺激，我們期待著
