After leading the Suns to a perfect 4-0 week following the All-Star
break, center Amarｅ Stoudemire was named the NBA Western Conference
Player of the Week for Feb. 19-25, the NBA announced today.
This is Stoudemire’s third career NBA Player of the Week honor, but
his first since the 2004-05 season. He also won the award on Dec. 13,
2004 and Nov. 22, 2004.

This is the fourth NBA Player of the Week honor for the Suns this season.
Guard Steve Nash won it three times (Dec. 11, 2006, Jan. 22, 2007 and
Jan. 29, 2007).
