The idea today was for Steve Nash to give it a try on his sprained right
ankle today against the Lakers.

But just as Suns coach Alvin Gentry talked before the game about being
careful with Nash's return, his office phone rang about 50 minutes before
tip-off.

"Oh, boy. All right," Gentry moaned.

It was Suns athletic trainer Aaron Nelson saying Nash's ankle was too tender
to play today. Now, the Suns will try to beat the Lakers with the same crew
that lost to them by 26 on Thursday. The only difference is Gentry will stick
with the starting lineup he used Friday, putting Matt Barnes at power forward
and moving Grant Hill back to small forward.

 The Suns are 3-5 this season without Nash and 7-18 without him since the
2004-05 season.

"Remember the Alamo," Gentry said. "They held them off two weeks. We just go
to hold them off for 48 minutes."

Nash還是不能上...預定和上一場一樣由Barnes打PF。
