Kerr to meet with Hill face-to-face

There are plenty of ways to contact Grant Hill. He has a landline,
a cellphone and video calling.
But as he did June 18 with Steve Nash, Suns General Manager Steve Kerr
is choosing to have a face-to-face talk at Hill's Orlando home on
Wednesday. If words do not suffice, Hill will have the feel of a handshake
and the look on Kerr's face to know he is the Suns' free-agency priority.

"Grant is our biggest priority and that's why I'll be in Orlando,"
Kerr said. "He's an important part of our team and we'll make sure
he knows that."

With free-agency contact starting Tuesday night with some calls,
the Suns plan to reach out to five or six free agents.
They are targeting veteran big men, including one they had before
(Antonio McDyess) and some who they talked about trading for last
season (Joe Smith and Rasheed Wallace). Four-year pro Channing Frye,
who grew up in Chandler, is a possible target who the Suns always have liked.

Free-agency decisions will be made with possible trades in mind.
After a draft-day agreement broke off, Phoenix and Golden State
continue to consider a swap of Amare Stoudemire for a package
including Andris Biedrins, Brandan Wright and Marco Belinelli.
Stephen Curry or Anthony Randolph likely would have to be included
to suit the Suns' tastes.
自由球員市場的考量仍然有可能被太陽和勇士可能進行的交易所改變：Amare仍然

Stoudemire's agent, Charles Grantham, said Stoudemire is interested
in playing for only a championship contender, preferably in Phoenix.
Golden State was 29-53 last season and has one playoff series triumph
since 1991. Any team acquiring Stoudemire runs the risk of losing him
next summer, when he can opt out if he does not sign an extension this year.

Stoudemire has worked out regularly since June 22 at US Airways Center.

The Suns sealed another power forward's return, exercising an $885,189
team option Tuesday on Lou Amundson's contract on the last day possible.
"I'm happy about it," Amundson said. "I had a great time last season.
I enjoy playing for this organization and love playing in Phoenix."
同時太陽隊準備了另外一個大前鋒的回歸。太陽在最後一天執行了阿盲的球隊選擇權

He averaged 4.2 points and 3.6 rebounds but his 12.4 boards per 48 minutes
ranked 31st in the NBA.
His strengths were offset by shooting struggles, including 44 percent
free-throw accuracy.
The Suns hired Dave Love, who worked with Kerr and Hill, to help Amundson.
"We're starting from the basics and putting it all together again to try
to get it more consistent," Amundson said.
阿盲平均每場可以得到4.2分並抓下3.6個籃板。但是他每場若打滿全場可以抓下
12.4個籃板則在聯盟裡面排行第31名。他的表現則稍稍被罰球的問題所抵銷，他
去年的罰球命中率僅有44%。為此太陽隊請來了曾和科科和Hill同事過的Dave Love
來幫助阿盲解決問題。
「我們正在努力從最基本的知識重新結合起，試圖獲得更多的結果。」阿盲說。

The Suns' NBA Summer League team will include returnees Robin Lopez,
Goran Dragic and Alando Tucker, draftees Earl Clark and Taylor Griffin
and free agents Micah Downs (Gonzaga), Kaspars Berzins (Latvia),
Josh Carter (Texas A&M), Zabian Dowdell (Virginia Tech), Lee Cummard
(Mesa High and Brigham Young), Chris Rodgers (Arizona) and Geary Claxton
(Penn State). Suns assistant Dan Majerle will coach the team's five
mid-July games in Las Vegas.
上面是太陽今年夏季聯盟的球員名單。包括了肉培汁弟、小帥哥Dragic、Tucker
