The Suns intend to sign D-League All-Star power forward/center Dwayne Jones
to be an insurance big man for the playoffs.

太陽有為季後賽買保險的打算：簽下發展聯盟的All-star 前/中鋒 Dwayne Jones。
(有個蠻嚇人的名字耶！報錯前的Wade也是這個名XD)

Jones will come to Phoenix on Sunday and take a physical on Monday, when he
would sign a contract and join practice. Jones would get two practices before
the Suns play again Wednesday at home against San Antonio.
在Jones簽約及加入練習之前，他禮拜日會先到鳳凰城然後禮拜一做體檢。

Jones is a 6-foot-11, 250-pounder who averaged 17.6 points, 16.0 rebounds and
1.8 blocks in 40.0 minutes per game for the Austin Toros. He likely will be
held out of the Toros' final two games to avoid injury.

Jones had tryouts this season with Portland and Dallas but never got a
call-up until the Suns came calling. With Robin Lopez's availability unclear,
Jones is insurance in case the new starting center, Jarron Collins, suffered
an injury. Jones is playoff eligible because he was not waived by any NBA
team after March 1.

Jones, 26, has played 80 games in the NBA over the four previous years,
including the 2007-08 season with 56 appearances in Cleveland. He also played
14 games for Boston in 2005-06, four games for Cleveland in 2006-07 and six
games ofr Charlotte last season.

The St. Joseph's product is limited offensively but converted 60 percent of
what opportunities he took near the basket. He is considered to be a strong,
tough defender but might not play for the Suns if no unexpected situations
arise.

雖然攻擊力有限，不過靠近籃框的攻擊成功率有六成。他會是個夠硬的防守球員，
不過除非有意外發生（應該是指Lopez復原狀況不好之類的或三零弟不幸受傷），
不然應該是不會用到他。

Jones' contract will include a second-year team option.

Jones的合約將包括第二年的 Team option.

Lopez will begin light rehabilitation Monday. He had an epidural injection
this week to treat his bulging disk's swelling and is improving.
