Gentry needs to make sure his players have rebounded emotionally. Mike
D'Antoni used to say if you lose a playoff game, you feel like you'll lose
all of them, and if you win, you feel invincible. It's an oversimplification
but there is truth to the remark.

lethal, prompting a defensive switch from Steve Nash to Jason Richardson.

"I was surprised," Miller said when asked about the change. "I think they had
the idea that I'd be a little aggressive. Steve Nash can defend but I guess

Gentry was coy Monday after practice, suggesting he wouldn't change things so
much as he would merely tinker.

That could mean Nash plus help. That could mean Richardson. Or it could mean
a different direction, such as the 6-foot-8 Grant Hill.

"Sometimes," Miller said when asked whether a "longer" player like Hill made
his job tougher. "It depends on the defender. There are some smart defenders
out there. Jason and Grant are smart defenders.

Portland clogged the middle and minimized the Suns' usually lethal
pick-and-roll. Stoudemire missed 11 of 19 attempts - including 5 of 7 jump
shots - and attempted only three free throws.
拓荒者的中路老是攻不下來(?)而且他們讓太陽平常愛用的P&R的功效減到最小。

The Trail Blazers bring out the worst in the Suns, who averaged 10 fewer
points against them this season.

"We just tried to make every shot a contested shot," Trail Blazers center
Marcus Camby said.

Portland does one of the better jobs in the league with rotations and
weakside help but that doesn't mean the Suns can't find a solution.
拓荒者在聯盟裡面的弱邊幫忙和輪轉防守都是不錯的，
但那並不代表太陽無法找到解決之道。
It's not just on Stoudemire.
而問題偏偏不僅僅出在阿罵身上。
"I think his teammates have got to try to do a little better job of getting
him the ball in situations he can thrive," Nash said.
「我想，身為阿罵的隊友們需要在阿罵能表現的時候多試著把球塞給他。」老大說。
Nash is always the diplomat but in this case he's right. Stoudemire can raise
the level of his play- he was one of the last off the court during Monday's
practice - but the rest of the Suns need to find a way to get him the ball on
the move.
當然某種程度上來說，Nash一直都像是個外交官一樣會講場面話，不過這次他說的很對。
阿罵是可以表現得更好的，星期一的練習中被深深激怒到的他是最後一個離開球場的
