I learned about that video from the Caltech basketball blog, where former
Caltech player Yang Yang discusses recent research showing that teammates on
winning teams are more likely to touch each other than players on losing teams.
這影片是我從Caltech basketball blog 看來的。 Caltech (應該是加州理工學院) 的球員
Yang Yang討論說最近有個論文說常勝的隊友彼常在輸球的隊友要更常跟隊友擊掌。
Yang makes a great point:

Number of touches measured may not be a good indicator of team bonding. One
point the authors missed is that regardless of bonding, better teams produce
more high-five worthy plays –- that is how they win. More touches equals more
good plays, so good teams -- regardless of how well they bond -- will have more
opportunities for touches. I would love to see something more nuanced. I think
better bonded teams will congratulate each other more for each good play. I
would like to see measurements such as "high-fives per dunk" or "chest bumps
per clutch defensive stop" and how they correlate with team performance.
擊掌的次數跟球隊的團結心其實並不是正比。無論一個球隊夠不夠團結，一個好的球隊會製
造更多值得擊掌的好球 (我並不清楚 good play 中文是什麼)，所以隊友就更有機會碰觸。
但我希望知道更精細的數據，我希望看到說 灌籃/擊掌的比例，在超帥防守後的撞胸次數，
還有這些跟團隊表現的關聯。

Nash 揮揮手，一臉困惑。
Jess 說：『我們現在訪問Amare，Amare 你覺得說Nash 一場比賽會擊掌幾次？』
Amare 說：『我們每個play 結束後都大概會擊掌個一、兩次，一場比賽下來的次數，我連
想都不敢想。』
Frye 說：『我猜173次。』

Dudley 說：『我會說80次。』

Hill 說：『我該開始戴手套了，你也知道說他天天都在舔手。』
Nash 說：『他 (Hill) 是聰明的，這大概不是非常衛生的觸碰。』
柏克萊最近有份論文說，NBA 最常摸來摸去的隊，就是最常贏的隊，譬如說Lakers跟
Celtics。
Jess 跟Gentry 說：『根據這論文，你們下次跟Lakers 打時要不要先大家抱成一團，說不
定就會贏球了。』
Gentry 說：『我們可以嘗試這個或者是Kiss Cam (就是球場會有說錄影機照到就要親吻的
傳統。)』
Jess 跟 Babosa 說：『你的手腕還好吧！』
Babosa 說：『喔！還可以啦！我想我大概是在跟Nash 擊掌時受傷的。』
Amare 得到了《最常被Nash 拍屁屁》獎。
Jess 說：『說下得獎感言吧！』
Amare 說：『這什麼鬼東西。』
Hill 說：『你紀錄說你碰別人屁屁幾下？』(一副這什麼東東的樣子)
Jess 說：『他們付錢叫我算的。』
很明顯的Nash 的擊掌是不同反響的 ，如果你想得到這激勵，就現在把你的手貼近螢幕。
