Stunning end to regulation helps Phoenix Suns beat Memphis Grizzlies
in double overtime

Suns coach Alvin Gentry has it all -- a great family, a wonderful home
and a new contract extension

On his 56th birthday Friday, it was hard to figure out what to get him
but Memphis' Rudy Gay came up with the perfect gift.

Gay made a free throw with four-tenths of a second remaining in regulation to
give Memphis a two-point lead and the Suns another possession.

GAY哥 在正規賽終了前0.4秒 投進了一個關鍵罰球 這球雖然讓灰熊領先了兩分 但也給了
太陽多一次的進攻機會

Gentry drew up a backdoor alley-oop from Grant Hill to Jason Richardson that
sent the game to overtime, where the fun extended to double-overtime before
Gentry got what he really wanted -- a 123-118 win at US Airways Center.

在主場獲勝的這晚 簡崔老大在最後0.4秒設定了由HILL跟綠茶神走後門的空中第一時間灌
籃的戰術  這個成功的戰術也讓比賽進入延長 並使太陽進而在2OT後獲勝

"I will never, ever, ever make the next birthday if we're going to have to go
 through a whole season like that," Gentry said. "God, that was a great win
for us - soemthing we really needed."

The free-throw gifts kept coming with Memphis' Mike Conley missing one in
overtime to leave the score tied. The Suns missed a jumper and two tip-ins
to win, but Memphis missed four free throws in a row in the second overtime
to hand the Suns their first home win.

今晚很甘心的還有CONLEY 因為他在1OT錯失了領先的罰球 但是太陽的HILL跟福來也錯失
兩次在籃底下把球搞進籃框的機會 (那個球真的很不乖 滾來滾去滾不進去!!!!)
2OT灰熊整個更甘心 連續四罰不進  也讓我們帶走了勝利

The amazing opportunity to even win the game came because of Richardson's
five points in the final 1.1 seconds, starting with a clutch banked 3-pointer
like one he had made in the playoffs. Fouled with 0.4 seconds to go, Gay
missed his first free throw and inexplicably made the second one on a shot
with arc that was dead-center.

綠茶神在最後的1.1秒連下五分!!!! 他先用一顆關鍵三分追到差距一分 就跟去年季後賽的
關鍵三分一樣  回頭的犯規GAY哥先錯失了他的第一罰 然後第二罰竟然該死的罰進了XDDD

"It was a couple immature mistakes," Gay said. "If I would've missed that shot,
 we probably win that game. It would've made it tough on them. I tried to miss
 it and I made it."

Richardson's alleyoop came on a play the the Suns frequently run in practice,
usually going to Jared Dudley.

其實太陽練球就有經常在練這個戰術了，只是通常練習時灌籃的是Dudley罷了。

"I figured if I could throw a good practice one to Jared, I could throw one
to anybody," Hill said.

HILL說他在練習時可以精準的傳給Dudley，那就表示其實他可以傳給任何人!!!!

The moment was so euphoric that a bouncing Gentry thought the Suns had won the
game on the lay-in by Richardson, who reminded reporters that Hill is known for
great passes like the one he threw to Christian Laettner for Duke in the 1992
NCAA tournament.

"That was a crazy turnararound," said Richardson, who had his biggest scoring
 game as a Sun with 38 points that included six-of-eight 3-point shooting.
 "They thought they had a win. I guess the basketball gods were on our side.
 That's the reward for playing hard."

earlier. The Suns had a chance to win the game at all because of another
great effort from their bench, which outclassed the Memphis reserves except
for Darrell Arthur's double-double.

The Suns' reserves are averaging 39.4 points per game after getting 40 on
Friday, when their efforts might have helped wear down Memphis' starters.

The Grizzlies starting lineup played 82 more minutes cumulatively than
Phoenix's starters.

The Suns trailed by 18 in an awful first quarter that saw centers Robin Lopez
and Channing Frye get into foul trouble, the Suns miss 13 of their first 18 shots
and the first seven of Phoenix's 28 turnovers.

我們的第一節打的糟透了!!!!  肉配汁弟跟福來都有犯規麻煩，第一節一度落後達18分。
我們前18投錯失了13球，得不了分不打緊~還另外送出整場28次失誤中的7次!!!!!!

The Suns were buoyed by 3-point shooting, how Memphis was equally poor at
taking care of the ball and Hedo Turkoglu's best scoring game since February
with 18 points.

三分球雨是我們的致勝關鍵，灰熊的防守也要記上一功。(他們的防守對球不到位!?)

"I know I can do more but it was a good start for me to have this kind of game
to get my confidence going," Turkoglu said. "You have to be patient, keep your

雜談

It was another rough night for Robin Lopez, who looks like a player just
returning from a back injury. His hands, timing and aggression aren't there.
He had guard Mike Conley on his back and shot a fadeaway. He compounded an
early third foul with a bad pass for a Memphis layup. He defended the outside
of Marc Gasol off a screen far from the basket. Lopez needs his confidence,
and the pressure of being counted on so heavily might be affecting him.
Channing Frye was the better defensive center Friday


對肉配汁弟來說今天又是個很不順的夜晚 (囧rz...)  他打起來就像個背傷初癒剛回到
球場的球員一樣。

他的持球進攻時機跟動作都不像之前的他，背打對手的後衛Conley他竟然選擇後仰跳投。

他很早就領到第三次犯規去場邊守開特力也傳了一球給對手上籃得分(助攻+1 ???)，
他的第三犯犯在嘎獸弟身上，重點那是個禁區外的投籃。

總之，肉配汁第需要建立信心! 可能是他背負太沉重的壓力才會影響他的表現(OS:那可以
讓瓦力打嗎!?  我好喜歡他XDDDD)

福來在周五晚上還比較像是個稱職的防守中鋒 去年點三分球  今年又點火鍋  賺翻了!!!
