Phoenix Suns fail to repeat Friday comeback in 109-99 loss against Memphis
Grizzlies

The Suns got away with falling that far behind the Grizzlies at home Friday
thanks to some unpredictable assistance, but they could not overcome it again
Monday night due to predictable problems in a 109-99 loss at half-empty FedEx
Forum.

在禮拜五的主場比賽中，我們靠著綠茶神的驚奇演出克服了18分的落後，但是我們無法在
周一的比賽中再次有驚奇的演出，因為我們遇到了些問題。

The Suns (3-4) might be playing better defense, but you would be hard-pressed
to tell when they are sending opponents to fast breaks off turnovers or giving
them second chances off misses so often. Phoenix rallied from an 18-point,
fourth-quarter hole to within seven with 5:03 to go but succumbed to Memphis
(4-4), which scored 47 points off second chances or turnovers.

當我們屢屢送給對手失誤後的快攻跟進攻籃板時，我們很難說我們能夠做到更好的防守。
我們雖然在第四節剩下5:03時曾一度克服18分的落後，將分數追近到只有7分，但是還是

Memphis' Zach Randolph was making his return from injury Friday when he was
fairly quiet in the Suns comeback home win, but he dominated the Suns'
vulnerable interior Monday, posting his fifth career 20-20 game (23 points
and 20 rebounds, including eight on offense).

Zach 在上周五傷癒復出的表現平平，但是昨天打爆了我們脆弱的內線，繳出了生涯第五度
的20-20 (23分20籃板 包括了8個進攻籃板)

上周五拿了12分14籃板也不錯   只是昨天的數據更變態罷了=   =

Without second chances or fast breaks, Memphis shot 43 percent. The Suns
committed 23 turnovers against the NBA leader in opponent turnovers. League
steals leader Mike Conley got four of Memphis' 12 steals.

再不把快攻跟第二波進攻的得分算進去的話，對手的投籃命中率還是有43%。
我們在面對全聯盟對手失誤最多的球隊時，總共出現23次失誤。聯盟的抄截王Conley昨天
有4抄截的演出，全隊總共12次。

"I don't think our transition defense was very poor, but I don't think you can
defend turnovers," Suns coach Alvin Gentry said.

"We're trying to do too much. In a way, it's not a bad thing because I think

The Suns had their worst 3-point shooting game against the NBA's worst 3-point
defense, making 9 of 31 tries with Jason Richardson and Steve Nash going a
combined 4 for 14. Nash and Grant Hill, the team's oldest players, had
double-doubles in the second game of a back-to-back, but a five-point deficit
shot to 18 as the subs entered in the second half.

After a timeout, the bench's energy rallied the Suns to within seven with 5:03
to go, but scoreless possessions were followed by two 3s as the starters waited
to check in.

在暫停過後，板凳暴徒們突然恢復以往的威能在終場前5分03秒時將比數追到只差7分。但
是在先發回到場上前去陷入另一次的得分低潮。

Hill, the team's leading rebounder, had more rebound (12) than the rest of the
starters (10). Center Robin Lopez played 14 minutes, his fourth consecutive game
with fewer than 20. He was ineffective, recording two points, two rebounds and
two turnovers. His backup, Channing Frye, had seven rebounds but made 1 of 7
shots.

HILL整場比賽抓下12顆籃板，是全隊最高!!! 比其他四位先發加起來的10顆還多兩顆。
先發中鋒肉配汁弟連續四場打不滿20分鐘，這場他只在場上游魂了14分鐘。他的效率很低
(2分2籃板2失誤)  他的替補福來哥也好不到哪去，雖然抓下7籃板 但是全場7投中1(印象
中還有兩顆球是籃外大麵包!!!!!!!!!!!!!  B2B手軟成這樣  是昨晚勝利慶祝過頭了嗎!?)

After looking more comfortable for two games, Hedo Turkoglu struggled again with
 defending the power-forward spot and wound up disengaged offensively. He picked
up three fouls in five first-half minutes, which actually helped the Suns
because reserve Hakim Warrick entered and had 14 points in 19 first-half minutes.

在兩場較好的表現以後，火槍兵再度吃鱉，不僅守不住對方的PF進攻端也不給力。上半場
上場五分鐘就領到三犯，但是這點卻幫了太陽隊一個大忙。因為替補的瓦力上半場就拿下
14分    (作者好酸喔XDDDD    原來不是只有PTT鄉民愛酸 =   =+ )

"It's hard to find your rhythm offensively, because in the first half I didn't
play," said Turkoglu, who had eight points, one assist and one rebound in 21
minutes. "I have to be smarter in those situations. I can't just leave my t
eammates out there. This is new for me. I have to do a better job against bigger
guys.

火槍兵表示:因為我在上半場打得少，所以很難找到節奏。他這場比賽拿到8分1助攻1籃板
他認為他應該打得更聰明一點，然後他必須去守好那些大個子XDD

"They say I'm pushing too much behind them. I tried to explain, 'Listen,
they're bigger than me.' So I have to fight."

Notes

Nash on Suns coach Alvin Gentry using a defensive lineup without him at the
end of the Atlanta win: "I'm fine with it. We've got a lot of 3s who can guard
a lot of people. To put them all out there and switch stuff is pretty valuable."

對於簡崔老大在上一場比賽中將他排除在防守組的方式，老大表示:我認為沒差，我們的
三分射手群也是能夠防守的!!!    把他們擺在場上做不同嘗試也是很重要低!!!


- Gentry on Hedo Turkoglu's defensive issues at power forward: "He's never
played like that so we've got to give him a little bit of a break as he tries
to adjust and figure out how he can help our team."

Houston's deal with center Erick Dampier fell apart, but the Suns are not
getting involved yet. They had already cooled on the idea of signing him.
But their rebounding issues are getting worse. Memphis was the only team ranked
lower in defensive rebounding than Phoenix entering Monday.

蛋皮跟火箭談不攏 破局!!! 但是太陽還沒淌這渾水。我們的態度已經沒那積極，但是我們
的籃板問題越來越嚴重也越來越明顯，在周一前灰熊是唯一防守籃板比我們差的球隊，
結果我們的籃板還是被抓爆  囧....
