[外電] Phoenix Suns' offense goes with Jason Richardson

It's no coincidence that, as Jason Richardson has made six of 28 shots and
missed all 12 of his 3-point attempts over the past three games, the Suns
have failed to score at least 100 points in three consecutive games for the
first time in five seasons.

這絕不是巧合，Jason Richardson六場比賽的三分球投了28個，但是近三場比賽他12球全
沒進。而太陽最近五個球季中第一次連續三場得分未達100分。(就敗在老大那顆罰球)

As important as Steve Nash is, he is most effective when he is facilitating
the Suns offense and not trying to carry the scoring load. And Richardson is
the most-potent weapon Nash has in his arsenal this season.

"I think J-Rich will be fine," Nash said. "Everyone has a couple of days

normally do. He's such a capable scorer and shooter; I'm not concerned about
him. I think he'll be back to his best any minute now."

The Suns take a three-game losing streak into their home game against
Minnesota on Wednesday night before traveling to Dallas, Oklahoma City and
San Antonio. They return home to face the Miami Heat on Dec. 23.

Richardson, of course, has been through slumps. It's inevitable for scorers.

"I'm getting excellent looks," he said. "We all just need to relax. I think
we're pressing a little bit and get down on ourselves too much.
"We've always been a fun, high-energy team. We just have to get back to that
place where we're not worrying so much."

Rarely since Nash returned to Phoenix have the Suns struggled as much to
score as they have at times this season. Though they rank second in the NBA
in scoring and shooting, they haven't been able to simply outlast teams with
their firepower.

They are shooting 47.8 percent overall and 37.2 percent from 3-point range.

That is their lowest overall shooting percentage since they hit 47.7 percent
of their shots in Nash's first season back - but that included 39.3 percent
shooting from 3-point range. Their current 3-point percentage is the team's
lowest since 2003-04 when the Suns won 29 games.

The Suns are even misfiring from the free-throw line, where they rank 18th in
the league.

"It's just a matter of us getting back into a rhythm and getting going
again," Gentry said. "We haven't played well as a team. It's not just J-Rich.
Offensively, we haven't been real sharp.

Richardson said when one player is struggling, it can be contagious. But he
said the contagion works just as quickly the other way, "where everybody gets
on a roll."

"That's how it goes sometimes," he said. "It's a long season. " . . . You
have to push the reset button, get back to fundamentals and it comes back. So
we just have to get back out there and have fun and stop beating ourselves up
so much."

這是怎摩一回事呢？這是一個很長的球季。你必須去按下那個回復健，回到基本面，他會
回來的。所以我們必須要回到這裡保持愉悅並且停止打擊自己(我想應該是指信心吧?)。
