After Friday's Suns loss to Oklahoma City, Suns executives Lon Babby and
Lance Blanks called Zabian Dowdell into the film room to talk.

Dowdell had been eager for this moment, because Saturday was going to be the
final day of his second 10-day contract, the point that a team has to sign
the player for the rest of the season or let him go. Dowdell said it felt
like "deja vu,"(哇靠 法文耶) having been called in to talk to
them after a preseason game
Oct. 19 and getting waived.

Dowdell tried to read their expressions but did not know which way he was
headed until Blanks said they were signing him for the remainder of the
season.

"I went in there with an open mind, but I smiled," Dowdell said. "I tried to
hold it all in, but it was a great moment."

It was the moment Dowdell has been chasing since he left Virginia Tech in
2007 and went undrafted. He chased the dream through multiple European spots,
the D-League and two Suns summer leagues before becoming a 26-year-old rookie
for Phoenix last month.

Dowdell was signed to be a practice player, allowing Steve Nash to rest, but
wound up being needed when Goran Dragic cut his toe by stepping on a glass at
home last weekend. Dowdell further endeared himself to the organization by
stepping into the first significant NBA minutes of his life with good
performances. He had 12 points, six assists, six turnovers and three steals
in 37 minutes over three games last week.

本來是簽來幫忙湊隊的 但是小帥哥在家裡腦殘受傷之後被推上火線
三場三十七分鐘有十二分六助攻三抄 但是也有六失誤(真多= =)
"He's played unafraid and, to me, that's the big thing," Suns coach Alvin
Gentry said. "Obviously, he's made a few mistakes here and there, but I think
overall he's done a good job for us and played well. He gives us that guy in
practice so we don't have to wear Steve out. It makes sense to have him here."

The Suns were at the 13-player minimum without Dowdell, but he is also needed
because Dragic is going to miss at least one more game, a visit to Golden
State on Monday. He wore a shoe Friday and Saturday for the first time since
getting nine stitches in his left big toe at an emergency room. During
Saturday's practice, Dragic was limited to corrective exercises, an
upper-body workout and 30 minutes on a stationary bike.

Dragic said his stitches will remain in for a few more days. He said he might
be able to play Thursday at home vs. Golden State.

可能禮拜四對勇士上場
"Now I feel my toe, so the nerves are back," Dragic said. "It's tough
watching all the players behind the bench. I want to help. I just want to
take the shoe and run on the court, but it's not possible right now. I can't
wait to come back and help my teammates.

小帥哥很想回來
"I have to work hard to get back, because I'm probably not going to be in
good shape like all these guys. I'll have to get back and be old Gogi."
