Phoenix Suns can't hold off Zach Randolph, Memphis Grizzlies in OT

太陽在延長賽還是擋不住軟豆腐跟灰熊

Zach Randolph had 38 points and 22 rebounds, setting season highs
in both categories, to carry the Memphis Grizzlies down the stretch
for a 108-98 victory over the Phoenix Suns in overtime Tuesday night.

Z寶本季新高的38分22板表現帶領灰熊在延長賽中以108比98擊敗太陽。

Randolph was 15 of 22 from the field and he dominated in the latter
stages of the fourth quarter and early minutes of overtime. He also
recorded three blocks, two in overtime, as Memphis outscored the Suns
14-4 in the extra period, with all the Suns’ points coming at the
foul line.

Z寶全場投22中15，他在第四節後段以及延長賽的一開始完全掌管了比賽，另外
他也送出三記麻辣鍋，有兩記是在延長賽；率灰熊在延長賽中打出14比4的攻勢，
而太陽的四分全都來自於罰球線。

Quincy Pondexter had a season-high 16 points for Memphis, while Marc
Gasol and Rudy Gay scored 14 apiece. Mike Conley had 11 points and
five assists for the Grizzlies, but went 2 of 9 from the field. Gay
shot 5 for 12.

Pondexter也拿下本季新高的16分，嘎獸弟跟Gay各攻下14分，康利雖有11分5助
攻的表現，但他全場9投僅中2；Gay整場則是12投中5。

Goran Dragic led the Suns with 19 points and seven assists. Luis
Scola scored 16 and grabbed eight rebounds. Jared Dudley finished
with 13 points and Jermaine O’Neal scored 12 for Phoenix, which lost
its fourth straight.

抓雞雞拿下太陽最高的19分7助攻，四克拉則有16分8籃板的表現；達利攻下13分
小歐也有12分，但是太樣還是吞下四連敗。

O’Neal missed a 20-footer as regulation expired, sending the game
to overtime tied at 94.

小歐在正規賽前錯失了一記20呎的跳投，讓比賽進入了延長賽。

It was Memphis’ second consecutive overtime game. The Grizzlies
lost 99-95 at San Antonio on Saturday night.

這是灰熊連續第二場延長賽，上一場他們以99比95輸給馬刺隊。

Phoenix, which led by as many as 16, saw its lead vanish in the
last 1:10 of regulation. The game was tied at 94 after Gay connected
on a 12-foot floater with 15.9 seconds left, and O’Neal’s shot at
the buzzer was off the mark.

太陽隊最多曾一度領先多達16分，但是終場結束前1分10秒被追平，Gay在終場
前15.9秒投進追平的拋投，但是小歐的最後一擊沒進。

Conley connected on a 3-pointer to open overtime, then Randolph hit
three straight buckets, leading the Memphis crowd to its feet, chanting
“Z-Bo, Z-Bo, Z-Bo!”

延長賽一開始康利投進了一記三分，然後Z寶發威連下三球，讓曼菲斯球迷高喊
「Z寶~~Z寶~~Z寶~~」。

The 10-point lead, reached on Conley’s two free throws with 50.9
seconds left, was Memphis’ largest of the game.

在延長賽剩下50.9秒時靠著康利的兩次罰球，灰熊來到全場最大的10分領先。

Memphis had a terrible time on offense in the first half. Phoenix was
getting in the passing lanes and swatting balls away in the post. The
result was Memphis committing 12 turnovers before the break.

灰熊上半場的進攻打得糟透了，太陽除了能猜到傳球路線也能在低位斷球，結果
就是灰熊在上半場發生多達12次的失誤。

Meanwhile, Phoenix had only five turnovers and was shooting at a 51
percent clip to carry a 52-45 lead into halftime. The Suns led by as
many as 16 in the first half, the largest deficit of the season for Memphis.

在此同時，太陽只發生5次的失誤更靠著51%的命中率以52比45的領先進入下半場。
太陽在上半場最多曾一度領先到16分，也是灰熊本季落後最多的一次。

No Suns were in double figures at the break, but 10 players scored,
four of them with eight points apiece.

上半場太陽沒有球員得超過10分，但是有10位球員得分，其中有四位得到八分。

Randolph had 16 points while Pondexter added 14, going 2 for 3 outside
the arc. Their play at the end of the half made the deficit manageable.

上半場Z寶的16分跟Pondexter的14分，包括兩記三分球，將灰熊的受到的傷害減
到最低。

Memphis tried to cut into the lead, but the Suns wouldn’t relinquish
the advantage. Phoenix continued its balanced scoring with Dragic
running the show and scoring along with contributions from Scola and Dudley.

下半場灰熊試著取得領先，但是太陽不肯輕易讓出領先的位置；靠的是抓雞雞、四

Marcin Gortat’s jumper near the end of the third gave the Suns a 72-68
advantage entering the final period.

Phoenix held the lead between four and six points through much of the
fourth, stretching it to eight at one point.

泰半的第四節太陽都維持著四分到六分的領先，更曾一度領先到八分。

Memphis tied the game at 91 on Randolph’s rebound basket.

但灰熊隨後靠著Z寶的補籃追到91比91的平手局面。

Then a steal by Conley led to a clear-path foul(註) on Scola. Conley made
one of two free throws for a 92-91 lead with 1:10 left for Memphis’
first lead since midway through the first quarter.

然後康利的抄截讓四克拉吞下一次的clear-path foul，康利兩罰中一，灰熊也
因此在時間剩下一分十秒時取得92比91的領先，這是第一節中段後他們的第一次
領先。

註：Clear-path foul = not a technical, but shoot 2 FTs plus get possession.

Scola’s 11-foot hook shot gave the Suns the lead back at 93-92 with
37 seconds left.

NOTES

Phoenix closed out a six-game road trip, its longest of the season,
with a 1-5 record.

太陽本季最長的一次客場六連戰，只有一勝五負的戰績。

Memphis is now 5-0 with at least two days’rest.

灰熊在休息最少兩天的情況下，拿下五勝零負的戰績。

The Grizzlies last played on Saturday in the loss at San Antonio.

灰熊上一場是在周六輸給馬刺隊。

The Suns have trailed by double digits in 15 of 19 games this season.

太陽本季打了十九場比賽有十五場落後到兩位數。

Suns F Jermaine O’Neal, who missed Sunday’s game against the Knicks
with a right quad strain, returned to action against the Grizzlies.

小歐因為右四頭肌拉傷缺席了周日對尼克的比賽，但是今天他回來了。



對上西區龍頭打了近乎整場的好球，可惜最後還是擋不住，看得出來今天
球員比較有拼勁，但是最後關頭的內線還是被打爆，還有抓雞雞關鍵時刻
處理球跟罰球都跟NASH差的有段距離，繼續加油吧~
