Suns Rally to Oust Kings
太陽克服困境擊退國王
The 2012-13 Suns officially have more comebacks than Brett Favre.
本季太陽的逆轉次數正式超越Brett Favre。
In Monday’s contest against the Kings, the Suns rallied back
from a 19-point first-half deficit to roll to a 101-90 victory
over visiting Sacramento. It was a 31-point third quarter, propelled
by 14 big points from shooting guard Shannon Brown in the period,
that turned the tides for the Suns.
周一晚上的比賽，我們從上半場落後多達十九分到最後以一○一比九十擊敗來

“They got a lot of offensive rebounds and loose balls,” Brown
said of the Kings in the first half. “Once we settled down, played

In the first half, the Suns shot an icy 37 percent from the floor,
while surrendering 11 more fast-break points and four more offensive
rebounds. But in the third quarter, thathe scripts was officially .
上半場對手的快攻得分比我們多出十一分，進攻籃板也多抓了四個加上我們的
命中率只有冷冰冰的三成七，但是第三節一切都豬羊變色。
The Suns forced the Kings into five turnovers in the period, using
those opportunities to their advantage on the offensive end. By holding
the Kings to 14 points in the third – a season low for Suns opponents
in the third quarter this season - Phoenix erased an 11-point deficit
and went into the fourth ahead by six.
我們讓對手單節發生五失誤，並趁機在進攻端取得領先。結果國王第三節單節
只拿到十四分，這是是本季我們對手在第三節的最低得分，因此我們不只追平
十一分的落後，更帶著六分的領先進入第四節。
From that point on, the Suns cruised to their second-straight
double-digit win and their 12th win in 13 tries at home against
Sacramento. Brown finished with a team-high 22 points on the night,
shooting 10-of-13 from the floor.
因此太陽連續兩場贏超過十分，這也是最近主場十三度遭遇國王中的第十二勝。
香濃靠著十三投十中的高命中率砍下全隊最高的二十二分。
In addition, Marcin Gortat racked up 14 points, 13 rebounds and six
blocks, notching his fourth-straight game with a double-double.
Swingman Jared Dudley (20 points) and power forward Luis Scola (14
points and a career-high 11 assists) made up the rest of the Suns in
double figures.
此外，鍋貼有十四分十三板外帶六火鍋的生猛表現，這是他連續第四場的雙十
演出。達神這場比賽拿下二十分阿伯則是十四分加上生涯新高的十一助攻。
The win marked the fifth time this season the Suns have rallied from a
double-digit deficit to capture a win, coming back from 19 or more
points three times in 13 homes games. They also improved to 3-1 on
their season-high five-game homestand.
這一勝是太陽本季第五場從落後超過兩位數之後逆轉獲勝的比賽，也是主場比
賽中第三場從落後多達十九分或更多演出逆轉。也因此在這次的主場五連戰中取
得三勝一負。
“Right now we’re playing the right way,” Dudley said. “We’re
playing unselfish, guys are moving the ball and defensively we’re
talking. Anytime you have that, you’re going to give your team a
chance to win.”
達神說現在我們打得很好不自私，球員們願意傳球也願意防守，只要我們能夠
做到這樣，我們就能有贏球的機會。
The Suns now are currently riding a season-high three-game winning streak.
They host Charlotte on Wednesday.

A game after limiting Utah center Al Jefferson’s effectiveness, the Suns
focused their defensive efforts on containing another big man.

Kings center DeMarcus Cousins came into Monday’s contest having averaged
27.7 points and 11.7 boards last season against the Suns. His all-time
scoring average of 22.8 points against the Suns was his best against
any opponent.
國王的表弟在本場比賽前，上季對上我們平均有二十七點七分、十一點七籃板的
表現。他生涯對太陽有二十二點八的得分，也是他所有對戰球隊中最高。
In fact, the last two times these clubs met, Cousins racked up 41 points
and 12 rebounds. But Monday was a different story.
事實上在前兩次兩隊遭遇，表弟累計得到四十一分十二籃板，但是今晚是個不
同的故事。
Cousins totaled just nine points on a frigid 1-of-10 shooting. He was
blocked three times throughout the night and turned it over three times.
表弟整場十投一中只拿到九分，他除了吃了三鍋麻辣鍋還發生三次失誤。
“We’re just doubling and making it a helter-skelter game,” Dudley
said. “We’re making other people shoot it. If that’s your main option,
we’re taking that away and make other guys do it.”

Getting Defensive 防守!!!
The Suns came into Monday having held their opponents under 85 points in
consecutive games for the first time since November 2004. Although they
allowed the Kings to score 90 on Monday, the last time they held opponents
to 90 points or less for three-straight games was in December of 2006.
本場比賽前，太陽暨二○○四年十一月後第一次讓對手連續兩場得分低於八十五分
，雖然他們今晚讓國王得到九十分，但是上次他們連續三場比賽讓對手得分不超過
九十分，已經是二○○六年十二月的事了。
Balanced Attack 點點開花
The Suns are one of only six teams that have six players averaging
double-figures. Goran Dragic, Brown, Scola, Michael Beasley, Gortat and
Dudley are all averaging 10 points a game or more this season. San Antonio,
Minnesota, Denver, Charlotte and Cleveland are the only other clubs that
join Phoenix in that group.
太陽是唯六有六位球員季平均得分來到兩位數的球隊之一，抓雞雞、太陽KOBE、
阿伯、小畢、鍋貼以及達神本季平均得分都來到兩位數。其他的球隊有馬刺、灰狼

One of the perks of being a Suns season-ticket holder is having a town
hall with a Hall of Fame player. NBA legend Bill Russell, who has the
Finals MVP trophy named after him, paid a group of about 300 Suns
season-ticket holders a visit at the Suns’ practice court before the
Phoenix-Sacramento contest Monday.
身為購買太陽隊季票的球迷來說，最高興的事莫過於他們有機會見到名人堂球員。
傳奇球星Bill Russell，總冠軍賽MVP的獎就是以他來命名的，他在這場比賽前出
錢請大約三百位的球迷進場看太陽的賽前練習。
The former Celtics superstar is one of several speakers that will be
featured in a town-hall-like forum for season-ticket holders this season.
這位超賽的前超級球星是季票球迷中的大咖之一。
才剛說要拼狀元，就來個三連勝 哈哈
但是今天的比賽雖然上半場手感比外面天氣還冷，但是下半場的表現全然不同，
代表這支球隊要是能夠進入狀況還是大有可為的，也表示最近團隊磨合得越來越好，
在大家都找到自己的定位也都有好表現之下，相信這支球隊的未來是值得期待的。
